IMPROVEMENT OF FISHERIES DATA COLLECTION

As teamleader of the FAO FishCode STF project, Gertjan de Graaf, was mainly invloved, over the last ten years, in project for the the improvement of fisheries and aquaculture data collection. Main activities:

• National and regional analyses of fisheries data collection in West Africa, East Africa SE Asia, Central America and the South Pacific.

• Development of Training material for the improvement of fisheries data collection
• Development of Mobile Apps to facilitate fisheries data collection
